Difflytics ("we," "us," or "our") operates difflytics.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using Difflytics, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
Riot ID (voluntarily provided)
When you enter a Riot ID (e.g. PlayerName#TAG) to look up match history or compare players, that ID is sent to Henrik's unofficial Valorant API to retrieve publicly available match data. We do not store Riot IDs on our servers. Your Riot ID may be saved in your own browser's localStorage so you don't have to retype it. This data never leaves your device.
Usage Data (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous usage data such as pages visited, time on site, device type, and general geographic region. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. Google Analytics may use cookies to track sessions. You can opt out via theGoogle Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Cookies
We use cookies through Google Analytics for analytics purposes only. We do not use cookies for advertising targeting, user tracking across other sites, or any purpose beyond understanding how visitors use Difflytics.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any contact information
- We do not create user accounts or store login credentials
- We do not store player match data or Riot IDs in any database
- We do not sell, rent, or trade any data to third parties
- We do not collect payment information
Third-Party Services
Henrik's Valorant API
Player match data is retrieved from Henrik's unofficial Valorant API (api.henrikdev.xyz), which sources its data from Riot Games. We do not control how Henrik's API handles data. Riot IDs you enter are transmitted to this API to fulfill your search request.
Riot Games
Difflytics is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or specifically approved by Riot Games. Valorant and all related names, marks, and assets are property of Riot Games, Inc. Player data is provided via the Riot Games API in accordance with the Riot Developer Policies.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 for anonymous usage analytics. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
Vercel
Difflytics is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect server logs including IP addresses for security and performance purposes. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
localStorage
If you use the "remember my Riot ID" feature, your Riot ID is saved in your browser's localStorage. This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. You can clear it at any time using the "Forget me" button on the homepage, or by clearing your browser's local storage.
Children's Privacy
Difflytics is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our service, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Difflytics after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
